Reflections Program & Citizenship Literature Contest
The Reflections Program is an annual arts recognition and achievement
program run through the National PTA. The goal is to encourage
participation by every student in the art areas of literature, visual arts,
photography, dance choreography, film/video production and musical
composition. The winners from each division at Dogwood will have the
opportunity to have their entries forwarded to the county level, and maybe
even the state, with the possibility of competing on a national level.
This year's theme is “Beauty is....” We encourage everyone to let their
imaginations soar!
Entry forms and rules for the Reflections Contest will be sent home in
August with a deadline of October 15, 2009.
Volunteers are needed to:
- help accept entries on October 15, 2009
- help with the awards ceremony in January 2010
- donate cookies or beverages for the awards ceremony
